Jiji Rescue Cat Cafe is often praised for its well-cared-for, energetic cats and peaceful atmosphere that many find relaxing. Visitors appreciate the private sessions that help create a calm environment for both cats and guests. The friendly and welcoming owner, along with a pleasant drink and food selection, also contribute to a positive experience. Feeding the cats with treats is commonly recommended as it encourages more interaction with the playful cats.
Visits typically include a one-hour experience with a drink served at the end and a limited number of cat treats to share. Sessions are generally private, which helps avoid overwhelming the cats. The cafe is wheelchair accessible and accepts reservations. Note the opening hours, mostly mornings to mid-afternoon, with no delivery service available.
The 1 hour experience includes a drink (given at the end) and treats to feed the cats (2 pieces for each cat) - would definitely recommend this one! The cats, as they're on the younger side, are quite energetic and playful, and if you have treats they will definitely surround you! There's a small extension that extends into the backyard greenery, and it was very peaceful and healing to just sit there and watch the cats be cute and youthful, and play with the toys . Also special note - Yuki, the owner, was very accommodating with my drink order and kindly let me combine Sprite and Apple Juice together for my drink! It's also very clear how much she cares for the cats with the way she went through the instructions, introducing the cats and making sure each cat gets 2 treats each (so no one feels left out ). So wonderful to see rescue cats being so loved and cared for - hopefully can visit again soon!
The cats are very well looked after, the space is lovely, and I enjoyed the iced hojicha latte. I would recommend opting for the cat treats, since it pretty much guarantees they'll approach you. They're good company even when they're just relaxing on their own, though. A really great spot to spend an hour or two :)
Jiji’s Rescue Cat Cafe is an absolute must!!! The cats are treated so well, the owner is so friendly and welcoming. This was my first cat cafe experience and I’m lost for words how amazing it was! The food was so good and the hospitality is just off the charts! (p.s, the cats are the SWEETEST ever). Thankyou for this wonderful experience! 10/10
Wonderful atmosphere! The owner Yuki is super lovely and very helpful! It's so nice seeing someone putting in so much care and love into rescue cats and helping them find a forever home. It's also our first time having a completely private session with all the cats and we loved it! Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to rescue a cat or just want to visit a cute cat cafe!
Absolutely love this cat cafe! I've never been to a cat cafe where my session with the cats is private, and I have to say this was a really lovely set up. This way the cats aren't overwhelmed by so many folks in the room, and instead are more interested in us. For the 2 of us, one of the cats sat on my husband's lap while he petted her and a second cat, and another cat played happily with me with the string toy. We also both enjoyed the drinks we ordered from the cafe. If you have the chance, highly recommend you stop by!
Cozy little cat cafe with lots of friendly kitties! The cats are well looked after, well socialised, and you get to hang out with them in a private lounge, what could be better! It's a lot of fun getting to know them and finding out their different personalities. I'd recommend getting the treats, they'll make you very popular :) Yuki was super friendly and answered all my question/gave advice which was really helpful as someone looking to adopt their first cat. She does great work! Highly recommended!
A sweet cat café tucked away on the North Shore, with adorable rescued kittens to play with! I had a 40-minute session that included complimentary cat treats, and the cats were so friendly and well cared for. The owner, Yuki, was absolutely lovely, and you could really tell how much she cares for the cats. They have rehomed 99 cats so far and still going. Just like any cat cafes in Syd with rescued cats, it’s hard to make it profitable so respect to Yuki’s passion and hard work and I will surely revisit! ⬛
Very zen cafe (store front) and the back room where the cats are housed is very peaceful also. Cats are curious, not affectionate (they are rescue cats) and they loved the kibble (one for each cat). Matcha latte is very well done; delish. Interesting one-off experience.
